#26 "loss of hands" article

read the article about the young woman from Sierra leone who came to London, ON last Friday to share her story at a "Me to We" event to raise funds to build a school in her country (as we have done here at IDCI). Do you personally think, we as Canadians have any responsibility to help people such as this from far-off lands help rebuild their lives after such tragedy? Explain. (I guess the question is also asking how you feel about IDCI's campaign to build a school for the kids in Sierra Leone recovering from the tragedy shown in the film)....hmm...your thoughts?

what was it all about?

what - for you - was the message of the film?....yes, it was about a diamond smuggler and how he gets involved with a fisherman who is looking for his son and a journalist looking for the big story, but, what, in your opinion, is it really about? (what will you take from it?)
